Jessica Alba’s main secret in her weight loss and fat loss is portion controlling. She is said to watch her carbs carefully and does not like bread and desserts in the menu. She very well knows how to keep her eating habits under control, but is sometimes lenient and gives into food cravings.

- She prefers to eat lean cuts of meats, like chicken breasts and fish.

Everyone in my family is heavily overweight. I wanted to be healthier, so I started cooking for myself when I was 12 years old. When I eat breakfast, I’ll have an egg-white omelette and fruit, or cottage cheese and a peach. For lunch, I’ll have a salad. Dinner is usually vegetables and chicken or fish. During the day I’ll have some dried fruit, or I’ll have a chocolate or strawberry frozen yogurt. I don’t really eat desserts or bread. You need to indulge and have that chocolate cake whenever you feel the need
She follows the South Beach style diet, with lean meats, whole-grains and low fat cheese. The following is an average daily diet of Jessica Alba:
Breakfast: 1 cup oatmeal with berries and 3-4 scrambled eggs.
Lunch: Salad with 6 ounces of chicken or fish (salmon,tuna).
Dinner: Sashimi or 6 ounces of petit fillet of beef or other lean protein with large amounts of vegetables and 3 small red potatoes.
Snacks: A handful of almonds or popcorn.
