Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has it all; a family which can be regarded as the first family of Indian cinema, chocolate boy cute looks and an amazing lean body, which has made him the heartthrob of many girls in India and around the globe. But a lot of effort has been put in by Ranbir Kapoor to get the perfect body. Lets find out the workout schedule Ranbir Kapoor followed to get an amazing body.

Ranbir Kapoor has a genetic drawback that he cant gain muscles fast, as he has a very fast metabolism. Hence he adds brown bread, soup and fruits to his diet if he wants to bulk up. He has a glass of mass gainer an hour prior to his workout, and it is repeated after his workout is finished.

Ranbir Kapoor has been working out with personal trainer Pradeep Bhatia for three years now. Ranbir was introduced to him by his mother, Neetu Singh, who had trained with him for a while. He was the one who put Ranbir Kapoor on a strict diet.

Pradeep travels along with Ranbir too his shoots to make sure that Ranbir Kapoor does not miss out on his diet and workout schedule is followed. He does so because he knows that Ranbir Kapoor has little time to visit the gym due to erratic shooting hours.


Ranbir Kapoor works out at Sanjay Dutt’s gym six times a week for an hour or so. Ranbir does hardcore gymming to stay fir as he doesn’t quite love yoga or swimming. The areas he likes to work upon are the chest and back but like most of us, he looks for a way out when its time to work the legs, as he finds working them quite painful. Like most of us, Ranbir Kapoor likes working out with music blaring.

Daily Workout Of Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor starts his workout with 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up. He does kick-boxing and focuses on 2 body parts at a time, chest-back, shoulder-legs and biceps-triceps, on different days.

Ranbir Kapoor loves football and plays regularly, besides running a lot. He makes it a point to come to gym atleast four times a week and do lots of weight training and cardio. Protein shakes before and after workout are mandatory for him.

Ranbir Kapoor trains in the evening, at around 4 PM  (same as me) and tries to spend atleast one hour in the gym, sometimes even more.
